Lost Wax Carving Private Workshop

This is an opportunity to experience the process that is Lost Wax Carving for yourself.

Imagine creating something that could potentially be passed down to future generations and considered a family heirloom - pretty amazing right?

Lost Wax Carving Workshop? What is it? What does it involve?

This is a creative workshop using basic wax working tools, hand tools and a little bit of imagination to make your very own ring out of jewellers wax which will then be cast into a wearable silver ring.

The freedom of wax is near limitless and no experience is necessary, just bring an open mind.

You will have the opportunity to find your ring size at the workshop. If you are wanting to gift your finished ring to a friend, please make sure you have their ring size/s available on the day.

What happens after the workshop? When do I get my silver ring back?

About 4 weeks after the workshop you will have your finished ring sitting pretty on your finger!

After you have made your masterpiece I will send it away to be cast in 100% recycled 925 Sterling Silver by a professional casting company. It will get sent back to me for finishing. Once its finished you can pick it up from me by appointment at either the Brisbane CBD, Newmarket, or another preorganised location… if you require postage this will be an additional cost.

Come carve a ring and drink some of my favourite wine with me.

Hosted either at my home in Newmarket, Brisbane, or at a location organised by you.

Minimum of two people per workshop

Note: if hosting at my home there is a flight of stairs to walk up

Please note: Any cancellations made within 14 days of the workshop date will forfeit the full workshop cost. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior will be refunded 50% of the workshop cost. Allocated weight limit is 1.8 grams. Extra wax weight can be purchased on the day starting at $65 per gram
